Nemrut Mountain is one of the most astounding places in Türkiye. Over 2150m high, collection of colossal statues which are adorning the temple and tomb of King Antiochus.

King Antiochus (Theos of Commagene – 62 BC) built on the mountain top a tomb-sanctuary flanked by huge statues 8–9 m high, two lions, two eagles and various Greek, Armenian, and Iranian gods, such as Hercules, Zeus, Bakht-Tyche, and Apollo

After starting to photography I made lots of  crazy things but  among them the biggest was climbing this mysterious mountain in the middle of the night with my friends. With a complete darkness and silence  we had to walk nearly 30 minutes to the top of the mountain. It wasn’t easy walking because we were climbing to come to the presence of the Gods. I don’t know how can I explain my feelings. Happy but Anxious, Excited but Thoughtful, Fearless but Scary and so on…
